Duh. After rereading. Realized I answered the wrong thing. Hal is right of course. It is in the boot loader. Lilo can be changed. There are other color selections possible. Lilo and grub also allow a bitmap. I like grub better now, no need to run anything to modify the menu boot options. Brian
