At wits' end

Hi all.

I have a problem with a newly installed Rh7.1 machine. After tinkering
around and doing rmmod ipchains (to get iptables to work), iptables -F etc
etc, I can telnet to the box, I can ssh to the box, but I can't browse the
apache I installed.

# iptables -L
Chain INPUT (policy ACCEPT)
target prot opt source destination

Chain FORWARD (policy ACCEPT)
target prot opt source destination

Chain OUTPUT (policy ACCEPT)
target prot opt source destination
# grep Port /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf
Port 80
# tcpdump port 80
Kernel filter, protocol ALL, TURBO mode (575 frames), datagram packet socket
tcpdump: listening on all devices
16:31:31.179441 eth0 < 192.168.0.80.33303 > 192.168.0.23.http: S
3754000486:3754000486(0) win 24820 <nop,nop,sackOK,mss 1460> (DF)
16:31:31.179441 eth0 > 192.168.0.23.http > 192.168.0.80.33303: R 0:0(0) ack
3754000487 win 0 (DF)
-------------------8<-------------

With the tcpdump running, I did a 'telnet 192.168.0.23 80' from the host
with ip 192.168.0.80. Where's that (R)eset coming from??

I'm sure I'm doing something very simple but crucial to mess it up... What
puzzles me is that ports 22 and 23 are fine.

Thank you in advance for any and all help!

	/Mick
