Wal-Mart shipping PCs with Lindows preinstalled

Lindows isn't just any distro is it?  From what I understand, they made 
kernel-level tweaks to support the big name M$ products.  I know jack 
about kernel hacking, but it would seem that that type of tweaking can 
lead to lots of problems when you're going cross-platform with it. Hope 
they beta'd the hell out of it first.  Lindows might be better suited as 
a sort of low-end, "My mom's computer" type of a machine.  Just satisfy 
the 90% (restating that guess) of low-end users, simple workstations, 
minimal hardware, slots, etc.
