meetings?

Why not start a local one? if you have enough for a car pool you have a 
good start for a local one. I am sure the local computer stores would 
let you post info, and then there is the internet.

Once a month shouldn't be bad. But then I can't talk... I haven't been 
in over a year. If there are a bunch of you in 
independance/JoCo/North/South perhaps a smaller one once a month might 
be good. I know westport--Only 6 minutes from downtown supports a lug 
meeting once a month (2nd thursday)

After all if you start having a dozen KC LUG meeting locations/days it 
won't be the same, it will be confusing to look at a calendar with KClug 
plastered randomly, and people will stop going since its a weekly or 
moving event. A local LUG meeting might get a person or two that goes to 
both. A local super geek might go to the local one only, and someone 
else might only go downtown to the larger one with a wider pool of  geeks.
