mailto attachment

Does anyone know how to send a PDF attachment
with an HTML <mailto> link?

My guess is that it would be a <form post>
with a mailto action, or a mailto with 'body'
specified.

All searching on Google has turned up negative,
but it is theoretically possible. While the original 
HTML specs for mailto say that only the "to address" 
can be specified, most browsers accept the "subject" 
and "body" extensions.

Well, if you can specify the body, all you need
is to put the "mime type" line as the first line
of the body, and break the body into the mime
encoded text, right? right? will that work?

Just curious to know if anyone else had already
figured this one out, or knows definitively that it
is not possible.
