question regarding burning the linux installable cd

I know this is an old post, but i have been away.

to copy a cd sector by sector (even most protected ones)  just do this 
command

dd if=/dev/hdd of=cdimage.iso

it will copy it completely... then just burn it via

cdrecord speed=12 dev=0,0,0 cdimage.iso

substitute the coorisponding stuff for your own.
