question regarding starting the X window syatem

hi, after installing the linux on my machine i was facing some problem with
the X window system. it was simply not starting. so i ran the "nvchooser.sh"
and found out what display drivers are required for my machine.
after installing the packages namely :
NVIDIA_kernel-1.0-2960.rh73up.i686.rpm
NVIDIA_GLX-1.0-2960.i386.rpm
i am still not able to start the X windows system. the error i m getting is
this :

what can be the possible reason for this ???
