Linux can mount many different file types -- including FAT and VFAT.
I do it all the time with my dual boot system. For a complete listing
of file types supported along with details about mount options, try
''man mount''.
Since you are new to Linux, I'd advice a good reference such as the
``Linux Bible'' series for your OS distribution. These types of
questions are resolved and many examples are shown.
