Sorry, Jim, the version of KDE installed with RH 7.0
only has a file manager similar to Gnome. And yes, I
tried booting into both Gnome & KDE.

I've been wanting to try Konqueror, guess its time to
upgrade. 

Not intending to start any flames, but it seems so
80's to be so dependent on file extensions.
