I've been trying to get sound working with netrek. I have alsa running with the snd-es1938 module and I though /dev/dsp was the device I was supposed to use. I always "Can't open..." error messages about this device. For some reason I can't change the permissions on this device to allow any user to write to it. Any ideas?
