*.alb files?

Can someone tell me files with the suffix .alb are?

I recently received a zipped file a pictures from a relative. When I 
unzipped it, it contained three file files, all with the .alb suffix. 
Now the graphic viewer/converter on my Mac recognizes 75+ formatys 
but this one is unknown.
