Gateway is still selling servers with the OS listed as 
"optional".  I went this route last summer.

OS options are listed as:
Microsoft Windows& 2000 Server 
   (1-4 processors) 
   with 5 Client Access Licenses
   [ +US$599]
Microsoft Small Business Server 2000 
   w/5 User Licenses 
   and IT Foundation for SBS 2000 Training 
   [ +US$1198]

So it is quite a cost savings to install Linux instead.
