AMD SMP help...

All:

   I need a little advice.  I've installed a Tyan MP AMD board and 
I'm having boot problems.  The HD worked fine on a pretty new Dell 
but I can't get the Tyan to boot except from a floppy.  That works OK 
and I get up into SMP mode.

   The only thing I can't figure out how to do is enable the 
"hdd=ide-scsi" parameter to use my ATAPI CD burner.

   Any help would be gratefully received.
