  Yeah. See what happens <g>.

I had another one of those Routing Problems From Hell... This time I had
a w.x.0.0/16 network with our box on w.x.14.0/23 subnet. I set up the
router in /etc/hosts, added the route... and it didn't work. Everything
looked right... Then today the guy from my last Routing Problem From Hell
called me up and said that =it= had gone south - we talked about what he
could and couldn't ping (he was seeing 'remote-router' on the other end of
the VPN pipe), and he finally resolved the situation by putting an explicit
route to the remote site's subnet, specifying the same router that's already
defined as default.

Oh-kayyyy.... I dialled into the RPFH2 box, did "route add w.x.0.0
router" and damned if that didn't fix it. The more I learn about this
stuff, the less sense any of it makes.
