FTP Problems

Hello List,

Can somebody help me in identifying what the problem
is with my local FTP server. It worked fine for a
couple of weeks and for the past two days I've tried
to log in to it and I haven't been able to. This is
what the log file from the ftp client says:

>connecting to 192.168.1.100
>Connected to 192.168.1.100 port 21
>! Receive error: Blocking call cancelled
>
>! Connection failed 192.168.1.100

What is going on? Please help or guide me to find out
what's wrong. What files I need to check.
