AMD, Dual processors, and RAID

Tyan makes a good board, expensive, but good... However, this board doesn't have
hardware RAID support. Granted, it has two Ultra160 SCSI channels for super fast
data transfer plus ATA100 EIDE support; and a bunch of other niceties like
64-bit PCI, dual 3COM NICs, and support for 3GB of DDR-SDRAM. So he could
defiantly do a software RAID setup, at the cost of some performance.

As far as the CPUs being the same speed, that's a must. You will be better off
to buy them at the same time so you are getting chips from the same fab plant.
If its possible, get chips with sequential serial numbers so you know they are
made with the same process and are as identical as possible.
