Public FTP Server

Does anyone know of a publicly accessible ftp server that can be used
for posting files.  I need to
transfer .wav files to a friend and have found email to be unreliable.
It seems like there would be some
server somewhere that would accept anonymous log ins, allow the posting
files and then delete them
after X number of days.
