Best distro to start from scratch again 1 1 1 1

I have become a recent convert to Slackware, personally. It isn't the most
up-to-date of distros, for certain, but I've noticed that it is absolutely
rock solid and installs like a dream.

Prior to trying Slackware, I was a Red Hat guy. I still like Red Hat for a
lot of things, but when it comes to a plain-vanilla server install, I think
I'm a Slacker. :)
