ISP's

I had Skynet before I went to RR and overall
the service was OK.

*** Warning this is from several years ago.

The only problem was that every 3 day weekend,
Skynet would go down on Saturday and we would
be offline until someone showed up on Tuesday
to reboot. Or so it seemed to me.

Then there was the time that a construction
crew cut a major telephone trunk but I
wouldn't hold that against them.:)

I also had reasonably good service from them when I used then a couple of
years back. One *huge* strike against them, to me, is that they require
your
SSN. I find this completely unreasonable, and I haven't run into any other
ISPs with a similar requirement.
