Yeah, and you're the one who thinks HTML is a reasonable format for email.

The problem is that there is this licensing issue, and the commercial linux 
distros (the ones ready for real-world use) will not package Flash for their 
distros.

Yes, I know, all the hobbyists out there have time to download, read, and 
compile the source code...

... then again, they have time to watch pointless animations too.
