I also have an SMC card, 2635W, and I compile the source for each kernel I install.  I'm wondering 
why, if the chipset company is giving away source, that some distros haven't added these drivers?  
THe chip company is ADMTek in Tiawan.

Does anyone know of a reliable card with the Prism2 or Orinoco chipset, that can be had for under 
$50, and where I can get it?
