What I have been able to learn about the KTBG audio stream is that it was created using "Windows Media Encoder". For each instance, the encoder takes an audio stream from a sound card and allows fifty connections; apparently the URL is for a direct connection to the stream. He has not installed Windows Media Administrator to manage these connections, it is supposed to be installed on a separate computer. If anybody knows about running such a setup, or is interested in working on a project to provide KTBG with some support for an OSS streaming server setup, please contact me. (KTBG is the Warrensburg NPR station, they maintain some connections with CMSU but are no longer operated by the University.)
