Just some interesting things I noticed. IBM is preloading Linux now when you purchase a box: http://www.techweb.com/wire/story/TWB20040324S0007 (not exactly new) Novell has ported Groupwise to Linux, here's the beta: http://www.novell.com/news/press/archive/2004/01/pr04009.html Novell in the P2P business: http://forge.novell.com/modules/xfmod/project/?ifolder (well sort of, it's open source too) Linux on desktops last year grew 44% that's *tens of millions* of desktops. HP is pre-installing SuSe on laptops. Novell really seems to be running full-tilt Linux. I hope it works for them. I may have to take a new look at SuSE. Maybe get one of those SuSE-Knoppix clones.
