Um, no, several of these are from Wired's Haiku 404 contest, others go back to 
very early in the web when they came up with customized 404 pages.  If they 
were from Japan, they would likely be in Japanese, and would not scan 
correctly as haiku when translated to English.

Still, they are fun, and how were you to know the attribution was incorrect?
