I used Vonage for nearly a year.  Service was 100%, but so was my RR
connection.  Audio quality was excellent.  St. Louis number for me.  
Great service if you need a "land line."  It was wonderful not having to
deal with a beaurocratic phone company that didn't appear to employ real
living people.

But, I ended up cancelling and getting a new camera phone from AT&T,
economizing on my portable usage.
