40 - 45 minutes from KCI.  I've lived here since '89, got a pretty good feel 
for how to get here.

Actually, you might stay on Ward Parkway to 85th. St. before jogging over to 
State Line (~ 1 block at that point).

The other highway routes offered really don't save time, as you end up in slow 
cross-town traffic.  

For those in the Liberty or Independence area, you can either come down 
through the loop or you can take 87th St. off 435.  It becomes 85th at Old 71 
hwy,  and you can get across pretty quickly on that.

If y'all somehow end up there, I can generate DeLorme routing charts for 
anybody.
