Thanks again to everyone who helped me get my dialin PPP home Linux
serving working several weeks ago.

Occasionally, maybe once a week, my husband will dialin, get disconnected
and be unable to reconnect.  I can SSH in from work but even restarting
the server doesn't unlock and reset the modem.  I have a external Courier
V.Everything modem.  The only way to reset it so far is to turn it off and
back on.

Is there anyway I can "break into" the modem with a Linux utility?  Any
ideas or suggested always greatly appreciated.
