I have the semi-supported ACX100 in an SMC 2435W.  It works fine under Windows 
Me, but if I run it under Linux, my room-mates iBook can't connect to the 
net.  To top it off I shut the card down Friday night so she could get on, 
and now it won't detect it.  Haven't looked at why yet, plenty to do on the 
weekend.
