Sun's Java Desktop, an over-hyped over-priced distribution based on SuSE. Case closed, move on, right? Well, it seems it's not 100% SuSE. A fellow morpher got an evaluation copy in his hands, and it seems to resemble... drumroll please... a Morphix LiveCD! You can find some revealing screen shots over in the gallery: For More: http://morphix.sourceforge.net/modules/news/article.php?storyid=41 Alex's (semi-buried) Comment: There have been different batches of JDS LiveCD's, but it is now clear that Sun has distributed a large number of Morphix-based JDS cd's (they said so themselves). They told me they first used SuSE, but switched to Morphix because of the speed/hw detection. I don't doubt they had previous versions using SuSE. P.S. I am now an admin on the Morphix forum as ripcrd6. W00t! Brian Kelsay
