If you have multiple modelines in your configuration file, you can simply
hit ctrl-alt- and the + or - key on your numeric keypad to flip between
resolutions.  The + (plus) key will go forward in the list and - (minus)
will go back.  

The default modeline is the one listed first in the Screen section.
