Arg, the instant something starts to work something else breaks. I have gpm loaded automagically on boot. gpm handles the mouse fine in text mode. I managed to get links to work under svgalib and produce a graphical webpage on my laptop. The mouse pointer on that page now moves to the upper left corner of the screen and remains there despite my frantic mouse motions. However, I have gotten X to work, so I think I'll give Firebird a try for a graphical browser. Links is still a great plaintext browser with formatting options and all the other features, I just can't seem to get everything that a graphical Links needs, to work together. ________________________________________________________________ The best thing to hit the internet in years - Juno SpeedBand!
