So I'm miserable that Links isn't working, and I drag Lynx out for some low-end browsing. Naturally, it is extremely difficult to use my Yahoo web-based E-mail (though I can empty my Bulk E-mail folder (spam) rather easily). However, I plug into http://slashdot.org/, and lo and behold, Slashdot degrades gracefully into a pleasant Lynx browsing experience. It isn't as easy to use as in a graphical browser, but the top stories are formatted in a way which makes them easy to read and easy to get to the additional comments. I'm not sure if I'd like moderating or meta-moderating using the Lynx experience, but at least you can get to the articles and read them without needing to eye-navigate GUI-only formatting. ________________________________________________________________ The best thing to hit the internet in years - Juno SpeedBand!
