I never saw an article citing Novell's ABEND log as contributing to the over-all improvement in PC hardware. I did see the articles regarding Linux making such a contribution. I've had plenty of applications freeze my Linux systems over the years. Just recently my Mandrake 9.2 system locked up in KDE - I'm not sure, but I think it was kdeinit trying to start a konqueror process. I couldn't get any console response, and when I connected via SSH "shutdown" would run but not do anything. Sure, I didn't have a BSoD, but hitting the reset button was still the solution. I told you I had a stable Win95 system. Your argument appears to be "Oh yeah?".
