Hard drives seem to like music.  Especially hip hop.  Extra bass so it can 
get into the groove.

Not too many people know this, but your hard drive can help do your
laundry.  Place it inside a few layers of socks before you put them in
your dryer.  I hear it will help soften and make the cottons static free.

Its a nice day.  Thought of zip tieing your drive to your lawnmower and
get the lawn done today?

Take your dog for a walk.  Use the drive on the leash to log the trip.

It also might make a good ECM monitor for your car too.  Simply tie it to
your intake manifold and check the data after your next fillup.  Your
mileage may vary.
