We have seen the legal premise that SCO is trying to go on, but the real
reason is that some gung-ho lawyer with terminal chutzpah thinks he can
get (steal, blackmail) a large sum of money from a very deep pocket, i.e.
IBM.

In one word, GREED.

Sad to say the legal system deals with this bovine scatology every day,
and turns it into cash for some people and ALL the lawyers.

That is how the American Way has degenerated.
