Probably because we are busy. Probably because we work evenings. Probably because we go to school in the evenings. Probably our time is needed elsewhere. (Home/Family) Probably because it's all the way down town and a lot of us live either way down south, out east, out west, or way up north of downtown. Probably because no one ever discusses what is going to be the topic of the meetings. (Demo day, installfest, etc, that REALLY tells us whats going to be discussed.) Probably because some of us works on/with computers all day long and the last thing we want to do is go spend another 2 hours talking or working with computers. Hell, the iLUG and the field days, speakers, A TOPIC, sounds more interesting that going to a library, sitting around, talking about linux and how "windows is evil" (Like I really want to hear that for 2 hours). All we hear is "the meeting is going to be today and it's demo day". That sounds REALLY interesting. How about before commenting on how people should stop their lives and go to the meetings, or else STFU, and instead maybe discuss on why people aren't coming to the meetings? What would bring them their? Set up a poll. Etc etc etc. -----Original Message----- From: owner-kclug@marauder.illiana.net [mailto:owner-kclug@marauder.illiana.net] On Behalf Of Brian Kelsay Sent: Sunday, June 01, 2003 4:20 PM To: kclug@kclug.org Subject: Re: I've had it There are a lot of you who hang out on the list yet never come to the physical meetings.
