Ahh my bad. No, I kind of meant that if their house if gone, I would imagine their box would be too. While the house would be the first thing they concentrate on, we could build a "will do for now" box for them till they get back on their feet and get money for a new one. (Insurance companies usually screw you in the end.) Sorry about the confusion. It's been a typical hectic Monday. (Qwest line somewhere between here and Texas is broken.) -----Original Message----- From: owner-kclug@marauder.illiana.net [mailto:owner-kclug@marauder.illiana.net] On Behalf Of Kevin Hodle Sent: Monday, May 05, 2003 12:56 PM To: kclug@kclug.org Subject: RE: Hope everyone is OK Actually, This was an attempt at humor, the juxtaposition being that if someone has lost their house, the last thing they will probably be doing is checking their email for the latest KCLUG goodies. While im sure everyone appreciates your concern for their wellbeing, I don't think PC parts would help them very much either :) Kevin Hodle Alexander Open Systems Network Operations Center (913)-307-2366 kevinh@aos5.com -----Original Message----- From: admin@kclinux.net [mailto:admin@kclinux.net] Sent: Monday, May 05, 2003 12:39 PM To: Kevin Hodle; kclug@kclug.org Subject: RE: Hope everyone is OK Umm.. ok.. hope everyone else knew what I meant. -----Original Message----- From: owner-kclug@marauder.illiana.net [mailto:owner-kclug@marauder.illiana.net] On Behalf Of Kevin Hodle Sent: Monday, May 05, 2003 9:54 AM To: kclug@kclug.org Subject: RE: Hope everyone is OK Yes, we can all build them a new house out of ISA video cards, 30 pin SIMMs, and dumpy old AT cases. If anyone has lost their house or anything, maybe other list members can help with spare PC parts, etc.
