Thanks in advance for any help.......

I just installed YD2.3 on my G3 PowerBook with great success, I switched 
form MDK8.2 and I am very happy
with the results.

I am on a network connection at work and I can start up my laptop and 
everything goes wonderfully all day.

At home though, I am on a dial-up account and when I connect the modem 
establishes a connection but when
I try a ping or ssh I get a "No route to host" error and I am unable to 
connect through email or web
utilities either. I am new to KDE and would appreciate any suggestions 
anyone could give me.
