The CDT has just issued a report on spam called "Why Am I Getting All 
This Spam?" which makes for interesting reading, especially their 
suggestion we use HTML versions of our e-mail addresses on websites 
that require them (amazon.com). Their inclusion of an e-mail address 
encoder is welcome also. It's at
