The CDT has just issued a report on spam called "Why Am I Getting All This Spam?" which makes for interesting reading, especially their suggestion we use HTML versions of our e-mail addresses on websites that require them (amazon.com). Their inclusion of an e-mail address encoder is welcome also. It's at http://www.wbwip.com/wbw/emailencoder.html. The report is at the following http://www.cdt.org/speech/spam/030319spamreport.shtml [HTML] http://www.cdt.org/speech/spam/030319spamreport.pdf [PDF] -- Bob Batson rcb@kc.rr.com "Chocolate is the true opiate of the masses!"
