I have Just some notes on RR tech support and Linux... It depends on what RR tech support you're dealing with. At the national help desk, they always flat out told me that my computer was broken and that I needed to install Windows before they would help me. I eventually started lying to them and telling them I was running Windows... especially when I knew what I needed them to do to fix my problem. However, at a local level... I've talked to a couple of guys who I had a nice chat with about various Linux distros [one guy wanted me to compare my experience with Red Hat vs. that with Debian] and who were quite happy to admit that Linux had nothing to do with the problems I was encountering. That was a pleasant surprise. But rare. Even some people at the local RR office stop talking to you once you say Linux. Though I guess they're supposed to do that... Just my experience. ~Adam Davis
