She ordered her Lindows boxes from TigerDirect.com, receiving "wintergreen" 
brand machines.  The first would not "take" the Lindows install, so she 
returned it, the second she says sounded "like a silverware drawer being 
shaken", so she didn't even open it.

She has some Unix experience, but is still planning to go with Lindows on a box 
built by a local tinkerer.
