Just as an FYI -- there's a new track in Blue Springs, FastLane Hobby.  I 
went up last week and took a look . . . very nice carpet and dirt track 
indoors with huge hobby shop and pit spaces for 100+ racers.  The web site 
is www.fastlanehobby.com.   I've been an R/C buff for quite a long time 
(mid-80's or so). . . even have the computerized battery chargers and 
such.  If I could only figure out the old DOS stuff I could port my charger 
over to Linux . . . that would be cool.
