Can anybody point me to a good resource explaining how Public Key Encryption is 
useful for validating a message's sender and the authenticity of a document?  I 
need to let some non-tech people know that they could use it to send 
certificates of manufacture with the same level of trust as a FAX, but I can't 
find much.
