I'm in the same boat. I'm switching to Speakeasy. They offer comparable 
packages and claim to be working to move DIRECTV DSL customers quickly.

I called them on Tuesday, and they're going to switch me on the 24th. 
They're claiming I should only be down for 30 minutes or so. When it's 
all said and done, I'll have faster downstream and an additional static 
IP, for about what I've been paying for Telocity/DIRECTV.
