I have a spare phone number. UMB's time & temperature
line closed a couple weeks ago. I'd like to hook up a
computer to pick up the phone and tell the downtown time
and temperature, then hang up. If the traffic is slow
enough and the line were used 15 seconds per phone call,
a single line on a 486 should be sufficient. Does anyone
know of or use Linux-based software that will do such
a thing? I spose I'd need to get a thermometer of some
sort...
