So far so good . . . I put VMWare on and installed Mandrake 8.2.  Worked
absolutely flawlessly.  In fact I put two monitors on the system and have
Winamp going on one screen, then flip the VMWare to go full screen and it
takes over my primary screen just like I was sitting there on a Linux box.
Very nice.  No hiccups at all playing MP3's across the network with Linux
running ontop of WinXP (Home).  I think 256Mb of memory is a bit small,
because I scanned a pic at 600 dpi and had a little bit of HD thrashing, so
I'll get another stick of 512Mb and use the 256 Mb on my wife's PC when I
upgrade it.  

Life is good . . .
