I am writing an interactive tool and I know that there
is a library which will provide a history buffer with
former line editing, just like found in bash.  I
cannot locate the library or recall its name. GNU gettext
is concerned with internationalization only, unless I
missed that it really is what I'm looking for in the
flurry of internationalization documentation.

Please advise?
