Ok, my terminology is skewed.

Just downloaded and installed Bluefish.  It was painless, sweet.
The PHP stuff doesn't seem to work, and that's what I'm in the process
of learning.

So, I need a good editor to work on PHP stuff.

P.S. sAms teach yourself php in 24 hours is an excellant book for the
beginner. Also picked up O'Reilly's programming php. Haven't dug into
that one yet, I'll let you know how it goes.
