hi, after installing the linux on my machine i was facing some problem with the X window system. it was simply not starting. so i ran the "nvchooser.sh" and found out what display drivers are required for my machine. after installing the packages namely : NVIDIA_kernel-1.0-2960.rh73up.i686.rpm NVIDIA_GLX-1.0-2960.i386.rpm i am still not able to start the X windows system. the error i m getting is this : XFree86 Version 4.2.0 (Red Hat Linux release: 4.2.0-8) / X Window System (protocol Version 11, revision 0, vendor release 6600) Release Date: 23 January 2002 If the server is older than 6-12 months, or if your card is newer than the above date, look for a newer version before reporting problems.
