I've been using Opera6 for both Win & Linux - works *great*! So long as you don't go to any sites that use ActiveX components, like microsoft.com...Opera doesn't barf on them, and the pages still display mostly right, so it's not too bad. And I like being able to refuse popup windows, and turn graphics off with a mouse click. (Great for those sites where you want the content, but not the smut they splatter over the rest of the pages!) -Lucas ----- Original Message ----- From: "Brian Densmore" To: Sent: Wednesday, June 05, 2002 12:56 PM Subject: RE: Another hole in IE > > > > > > "Not much we can do to stop it..." > > > > > > How about not using IE? > > > > ... > > > > Which would involve changing jobs for some of us. > > Not likely in this job market. > > Umm ... there ARE other browser that run in Windoze. > Like for instance MCPL uses something called Netscape. > Then there is Opera, and a few others. > Speaking of which, has anybody tried the new Opera 6? > > Brian > > BTW... what's wrong with the market? > > >
